Reservations and Deposits
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card, BACS payment or cheque for the first night’s stay.
Cancellations
All cancellations are free up to one week before the date of arrival. Within one week of arrival and up to 48 hours before arrival, the cost of the first night will be charged. This will be refunded if the room is rebooked.
Cancellations of bookings made through an online booking agent (e.g. Booking.com) must be notified via the booking agent. We strongly advise that you take out cancellation insurance.
Arrival and Departure
We endeavour to greet all of our guests personally and for that reason, our check-in times are between 4pm and 7pm. A key safe check-in can be arranged outside of these hours but must be requested in advance.
Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
Children
Children are welcome to stay when booking a family room (see room details when booking). Children should not be left unattended in the accommodation.
Pets
Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the premises. Should you choose to smoke in your room we reserve the right to charge you £100 to cover the cost of the cleaning and you also may be liable for additional charges should the room need to be taken out of service.
Car Parking
There is limited parking on-site and this is on a first come, first served basis. All vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.
There is free alternative parking available on roads close to The Castleton. Any guest unable to park on nearby streets can use the North Beach Car Park (approximately 100m from The Castleton). Parking fees are charged between 1st April and 31st October. We will refund the parking costs for our guests using the North Beach Car Park, with proof of payment. The address of the car park is De Moulham Road, Swanage, BH19 1NL.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions that is out of our control. Behaviour judged to be unacceptable may result in the termination of the reservation without refund. Statutory controls, including those relating to fire, licensing, entertainment, health and safety must be strictly observed by our guests. Any guest deemed to have caused damage to any items within the property will be charged in full for any repair or replacement needed.
Confirmation of a booking by you is deemed acceptance of these terms.
